Hand-held controller, suitable to work with VAG vehicles including those equipped with Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol. Back-lit LCD display with simple to follow menu-driven software. Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for engine, ABS, airbags, transmission, radio, climate control (A/C), steering wheel and immobilizer vehicle modules. Also resets oil service light (including Long Life), retrieves vehicle information (VIN), displays I/M readiness status and OBDII freeze frame data. Turns off malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) for engine, airbag, ABS and automatic transmission. Supplied in storage pouch with EOBD and USB cables. Fully updatable from the internet.
